Silent Hiking Torreys Peak via Kelso Ridge , Colorado 14er

This is a silent edit from my previous Torreys Peak hiking video. I’m still finding my favorite filmmaking style and like the idea of silent edits for the hikes I do for those who want to skip the talking and just enjoy these beautiful places

This video is of my hike up Kelso Ridge to Torreys peak at 14,276ft. I parked along the I-70 and biked to the actual trailhead due to parking.

I highly recommend Kelso Ridge for people looking for a bit more solitude on their hike as long as they are comfortable with some minor route finding and scrambling.

I found the knife edge ridge to not be that bad (very short) and think some of the early scrambling/climbing sections after gaining the ridge are a good filter for the level of difficulty encountered on this route. I made the summit in 2 hours from parking lot while filming the experience and saw only a couple groups on the ridge on a Saturday when the normal route was packed.
