we are about to visit a place in Osaka that we have wanted to visit for so many years I take l 10 years well you have to kind of put this into context of it we actually came here 10 years ago however we actually didn’t have the time to go inside the castle and explore the ground so we literally R here so we’re at the castle are we what they don’t know that we’re at the castle you just gave it away oh we’re at the castle [Music] our Japan Adventure Continues in this video we are exploring Japan’s second largest city Osaka we have made it to aaka we only have a couple days here so we intend to cover as much ground as possible expect ancient castles street food Sushi trains Ramen joints and Universal Studios Japan if you’re new here we James and Alex addicted to travel and currently we are exploring the best of Japan and for those of you that know us already welcome back so the reason why this is super special is 10 years ago whilst we did go into the grounds of a sucker Castle we never actually went inside the castle so it’s taken us 10 years to step inside or cyc a castle but the reason why this is even more special is we are at the very end of cherry blossom season and there are some beautiful Secura trees lining the whole way as we’re walking towards a castle we made it for Cherry PLM season yes we have finally seen Sakura In Bloom in Japan give me a kiss under the tree that’s right no drone zone here it is so magnificent now if you want our biggest hack of oaka Castle don’t queue up for over an hour just jump on to cluke book a ticket online and all you got to do is skip the queue by showing the security guard your QR code what a win and just to make it a little bit nicer for you if you add our discount code to some you get further discount off you’re welcome that is today’s biggest hack unbelievable we just saved like 2 hours [Music] should we go outside yeah let’s go [Music] outside oh wow look at that smile views are [Music] amazing it’s taken us 10 years to finally step inside orer Castle we finally made it all right what’s next on the list Ramen more specifically ichiran they have quirky seating plans affordable prices and just a pretty good bowl of ramen and we love that you can tailor make your serving however it’s now a place that’s become a trend to visit thanks to social media and of course with the growing popularity this has now been met with crazy weight times sometimes over 2 hours take our advice find an inchan outside of the busy City centers and visit around 11:00 a.m. expect way shorter cues by avoiding the lunch and dinner rush and this is why I love my wife I finished mine but now I got a little bit there I can’t finish it I’m so far I get to finish Alex’s and guys if you’re wondering where we are staying while we are here in Doon B we are actually in the Namba District or area which is literally a 2minute walk from doten body the famous street we down at cand Namba we’ve got amazing views of the city one level 15 and this is our room it’s pretty big we’ve even got complimentary PJs oh I couldn’t resist is getting changed and they’re so comfy complimentary slippers there’s actually an onson as well so on the top level of number 17 there’s an onson for him and an onson for her but this room it’s everything we need we’ve got a king-size bed and with this it’s breakfast included as well this is our bathroom I love the Japanese bathtubs and yes Japanese toilet is it warm yes it is perfect so we’ll put a link in the description below for the hotel so you’ve got any questions let us know in the comments I just realized where we are it’s the running [Music] man so guys we are back in dobur and this is probably the busiest bustling Street in the whole of Osaka we’ve now been here three times and every single time is as busy as the last time no matter what day of the week it is no matter what time of day it is it’s always so busy and of course it’s a big food scene here everyone is here trying to get their hands on you might have guessed it tacki Yaki it’s one of the most famous dishes you can get in Osaka and especially do and bore there are numerous stands that all sell it it’s squid fried in like an egg batter which turns into like a perfect ball shape covered in I think fish flakes we tried for the first time when we were here 20 4 we actually didn’t like it it was quite a strong taste so we’re going to start looking for some different eats try some different things stay tuned if you want to come to do B oh Alex this is where we went oh my God like the best GES we got to go here just to see if it’s still as good as we remember we’re going to sit literally where we sat before I mean I feel like we have to that was only 290 Yen for six kosas that’s pretty cheap I thought the opening thing was like a clam or a scallop and I just realized it’s ice cream in the melon pan this is what melon pan looks like essentially it’s like a sweet bread but it smells so amazing I’m so excited to try it she literally picked it fresh out of the oven and it’s still warm one between two people is enough especially if you’re here to try different things because there’s such a variety of food it’s only 300 Y and our first SEI training experience in Osaka it is this is cool our own little food I know I’m very excited the food smells amazing and hope it doesn’t cost a fortune it was almost flying food I was not expecting it to come on the conveyor Bel and cheers to [Music] you oh perfect got a [Music] winner has got with saby brain so that entire meal including two big dve beers came to $8 1,890 Yen I’m shocked that’s so cheap check out go Okay so we’ve just finished Sushi and it feels like the day has just flicked a switch cuz it’s night time dobur has come alive all the lights are on it’s twice as busy if not three times as busy in terms of that many people every single food stand has at least a 15 maybe 20 minute queue and the popular ones are definitely the tacky Yaky we’re going to be on hunt for maybe some dessert to top off this evening how long have you been waiting for 20 minutes but I committed so I’ve got to get it now I mean they look and smell amazing it’s going to be right there after all that Yummy Sushi we are tasting one of the famous egg tarts we could get just one I’m going in okay you going for [Laughter] it oh that’s so good the next day guys we are back at Universal of studios in Osaka and we’re going to share with you four of our favorite areas in the Universal Studios Japan [Music] we last visited usj 4 years ago and now we’re back revisiting our favorite areas but also exploring some new ones as well kickstarting with the wizard and World of Harry Potter as soon as you enter on your right hand side is a Hogwarts Express to in its horn and then suddenly you find yourself in hogsmeade village with all of your favorite stores selling all of your favorite wizard in merch last time we didn’t get the chance to grab a butter beer so this time we had to try it and when we say it’s sweet it’s sweet maybe share one between two people oh my gosh that’s so syy it’s B and there it is Hogwarts in all of its Glory like seriously huge and inside you’ll be able to find the Forbidden Journey ride am I going to able to get back out so guys if you want a top tip buy the express pass because you cut all of these long cues at the moment that queue is at 85 minutes and this Cube which is the express pass I’d say like 10 minutes that was absolutely amazing and right next door is a place that we have been dying to visit ever since it opened back in March of 2021 guys it’s finally happening we are here at Super Nintendo World the moment we stepped into this world it was like we were transported to our childhood I literally do not know where to look this is like Century overload our childhood dreams have come true they have literally thought of everything coins mushrooms shells piran plants and PowerUp blocks there’s a handful of rides to experience here Yoshi’s Adventure is a fun ride aimed at children but our highlight has to be Mario Kart Cooper’s challenge you enter via Bowser’s Castle and even just a quean area is impressive life-size trophies character statues and themed decorations that build the excitement of the ride thankfully because of our Express Pass we queued for literally like 5 10 minutes versus the other line which was 2 hours so when we say the express pass is worth it it’s worth it this is 100% the closest thing you’ll ever get to Mario Kart in real life welcome to Jurassic Park and this area holds in our opinion the best adrenaline field roller coaster in the whole park the flying dinosaur there is about seven different Loops hoops and turns for sure one to remember we also grabed something to eat in the discovery restaurant here finishing up our top four areas in Universal Studios Japan at minion Park this is the mischievous world of Despicable Me definitely aimed at children but still super fun to be around the chaos that are the minions the Minion Mayhem is the big ride here but also take the chance to play some old school carnival games and Tuck into these minion shaped ice cream sandwiches melting everywhere it’s four in aart it’s so po but it’s so good besides these four areas that we’ve covered there are so many more to explore like amate Village which has the Jaws ride and Hollywood that has the roller coaster Hollywood dream oh and one last recommendation Water World this is a free show shown a number of times throughout the day and boy is it worth it a fullscale theatrical show with Dives chases gunfights and just a casual plane that crash lands right in the middle so that just about sums up our two days in Osaka
