Japan really does do things differently πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ #japantravel #traveljapan #visitjapan #japantrip

And that’s one of the reasons we love it!!

Here are some things in Japan that confused us as first timersπŸ‘‡πŸΌ

1. Ordering meals from vending machines before sitting down – very confusing at first but so efficient

2. Hot (and cold) cans of coffee – found in vending machines on basically every street in Japan

3. Single-cubicle Ramen restaurants – Ichiran is famous for this and it’s designed so you don’t need to speak to anyone
4. Heated toilet seats – felt weird at first but we missed them when we left Japan!5. Lining up for over an hour for food without complaining – Aussies would never πŸ˜‚

6. 12-storey shops – like this UNIQLO in Tokyo!!

7. Hotel rooms the size of a shoebox – even 4 star hotels are so tiny

8. Buying full meals from 7/11 – not just snacks, proper dinners that taste amazing

9. Trains arriving exactly on time to the second – so don’t be late!!
10. Slurping noodles loudly – actually polite and shows you’re loving your meal

Which one surprised you the most? πŸ‘‡
