Japan really does do things differently π―π΅ #japantravel #traveljapan #visitjapan #japantrip
And thatβs one of the reasons we love it!!
Here are some things in Japan that confused us as first timersππΌ
1. Ordering meals from vending machines before sitting down β very confusing at first but so efficient
2. Hot (and cold) cans of coffee β found in vending machines on basically every street in Japan
3. Single-cubicle Ramen restaurants β Ichiran is famous for this and itβs designed so you donβt need to speak to anyone
4. Heated toilet seats β felt weird at first but we missed them when we left Japan!5. Lining up for over an hour for food without complaining β Aussies would never π
6. 12-storey shops β like this UNIQLO in Tokyo!!
7. Hotel rooms the size of a shoebox β even 4 star hotels are so tiny
8. Buying full meals from 7/11 β not just snacks, proper dinners that taste amazing
9. Trains arriving exactly on time to the second β so donβt be late!!
10. Slurping noodles loudly β actually polite and shows youβre loving your meal
Which one surprised you the most? π
