In this video, we will be sharing the “Kasuga Festival” at Saiin Kasuga-jinja Shrine. On this day, there is a parade of portable shrines that lasts for approximately five hours in the afternoon. The sight of the enormous portable shrine, weighing up to 2 tons, moving through the streets is truly spectacular. Please enjoy the festival’s incredible power and enthusiasm that can even dispel rainy weather.

『西院春日神社』って奈良の『春日大社』と関係があるのでしょうか。淳和天皇と関係があるようですが、京都の祭りは似た様なものが多すぎてよくわかりません。
