  1. "Pacific Northwest where it's wet"? Why are we in a drought and under water restrictions after about 3 months of virtually no rain in the Seattle area just south of Vancouver? Welcome to our little part of the world. We took an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver during the summer and had a fabulous time. I trust you enjoyed your cruise. Keep up the nice videos and it's totally okay to change lanes.

  2. Very happy for you both getting away and taking a vacation. Vancouver is a great place. Victoria is also a great place.

  3. That was some really nice plsces that you shared. Thank you for taking us along. Looking forward to the rest of yalls vacation.

  4. Good video yall last time we were in Vancouver was in 2007 we had sailed from Seattle to Alaska along the inside passage to end up in Vancouver on princess cruise line it was very cool

  5. Nice – Vancouver looks beautiful – I haven't been that far west (I'm in Ottawa).
I already recognize your travelling guests (Hi Phil & Stacey) – Lol!
    Cheers!

  6. You guys were probably in Skagway about a week after we were there! But we drove our motorhome up there. It would have been incredible to see you! Maybe somewhere down the road…๐Ÿ™‚

  7. If you come back to Vancouver, head up to Grouse Mountain, or Whistler, views would be fantasticโ€ฆ. Have said that, Donโ€™t bother if the weather is not cooperating. You can take the harbour ferry to North Vancouver and you can probably find a bus up to Grouse Mountain. Taxi is doable too. Whistler is 2 hours away by car. Hope you enjoy your trip, no matter what you doโ€ฆ..and a good break from driving – towing! Check our Granville island tooโ€ฆ. Make sure you are hungryโ€ฆ. ! Regards..

  8. IMO, I always carry most/all of my medication in my carry on luggage. And some in my fanny pack. Many times my luggage goes to another city. Trust yourself.

  9. What a beautiful journey through parts of Vancouver. Nice plan to get to BC a few days before the start of the cruise. Glad Daisy said hi at the end of the video.

  10. Oh I would go back on an Alaskan cruise in a heartbeat!!! We were on a smaller Princess ship, the Island Princess but we had a fantastic time and I hope you guys did too! We did the 3 hour zip line in Juneau which also included a couple of rope bridges. That swayed. Lol.

  11. Maybe you guys can help me. Looking at momentum 336 what if different with queen and king bed option other than mattress? Or is that the only difference thanks if you can help nothing tells me any info that I can find.

  12. Interesting, of all the years of watching your video's, you've come to where 'I' live, actually outside the city in the suburbs, as I often wondered if you'd venture to Alaska in the truck & RV, as there is 'so much' to see, other than what one will see on a cruise. I've been to Alaska a couple of times, actually one of the trips took us to Inuvik, in the North West Territories, then down through Alaska, where we took a ferry from Whittier Alaska to Valdez, seeing chunks of ice the size of houses falling from one of the glaciers on the trip! Valdez is gorgeous of course (reminding me of Switzerland photos) but I look forward to your future video's, as it HAS to be enormously awesome, as I'm sure you two will have a fabulous time! Stay safe, relax and enjoy! I will mention as well, so far…we've never taken a cruise, always enjoyed 'the drive', but I'm sure it will happen some day.

  13. My bride and I visited the Capilano Bridge before our Alaska Cruise. My bride crossed by facing the railing, crossing one hand over the other, never letting go. The only problem was when we encountered a woman coming from the opposite direction doing the same thing. Neither wanted to let go! Her husband and I looked at each other and shrugged. He grabbed his wife's belt, i grabbed my wife's, and worked the two around each other without either letting go. The tourists on the bridge had a huge laugh.

  14. On your cruise you'll pass thru Seymour Narrows (north of Campbell River), and up thru Discovery Passage. Lovely little area with extremely strong currents, we spend a few weeks on the coastline there and watch all the cruise ships and marine traffic go by ๐Ÿ™‚ Along with humpback whales, orcas, birds, etc.

  15. Love the video!
Tara, I also take alot of meds, once on vacation I had my pain medication stolen. Luckily I count those and write the how many I have left in my calander (only for my reference) but I had to go thru so much to get them refilled! Had to file a police report, get fingerprinted, police came and dusted for prints in the room. All this had to be done before my Dr could legally fill a new rx. I was lucky I knew that it was nearly a full rx. But it still took days for insurance to approve too.
I've since learned since we do travel often, to always take all your medications with me on the flight, and never put anything in checked luggage. Even my supplements that I rely on, come on board with me in a carry-on.
I'm sharing this because I've had theft happen, and it can be a real disruption of travel plans. As well as dangerous to your health.
BTW, you couldn't pay me to walk on that bridge! No, not the shaking ๐Ÿ˜ฎ!

  16. We went on the princess cruise to alaska. It was great. We made the mistake of only staying in Vancouver over night. We should have stayed a couple of days. Weโ€™re taking a Caribbean cruise in June

  17. I appreciate the variety of measurements provided for all viewers, especially how you included the appropriate American measurement of how many Statue of Libertyโ€™s tall- the only relevant measurement. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  18. Great video of Vancouver. Can't wait for the cruise video. Thanks ! BTW, here is the info on the original donnor for the Stanley Cup, (info from Google) Frederick Arthur, Lord Stanley of Preston

The cup's donor was a governor-general of Canada, Frederick Arthur, Lord Stanley of Preston, for whom it is named. It was originally intended to go to the outstanding Canadian team, as determined by a play-off, and the first winner was the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association.

  19. North to Alaska is the song to sing on your way there, if you happen to get bored…lol. Glad to see that you step out to take a vacation, as it does help to rejuvenate your spirit some, as a rule. Safe travels, wherever you decide to travel.

  20. The seawall is the worlds longest uninterrupted seawall path, 28km long. Welcome to my hometown.

  21. I work for TSA in San Antonio. Here we would have given you a TSA Pre card and you would have kept your shoes and hat. An the CT machines we use allows you to leave everything in your bag. You should have flown out of here. ๐Ÿ˜

  22. We did that this year. We took the Princess line also. We eent on June and it was mostly cold.
If you take the train, be sure you sit on the right side of the train to take rhe best pics.
It was so beautiful, but did run into some rain and fog.
    Have a great time.

  23. My wife and I took a break from RV life and decided to stay in Alaska for a few years with our military kids. You will love it here. We came for a visit and decided to stay and see as much as we could. Have a great trip. Love seeing your adventures
