We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare… our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan. We enjoyed a three month Japanese Adventure and are now back in Martha ready for some more adventures.

Hi ya awesome video, our Irukandji jelly fish are poisonous they can kill upto 26 adults. Not all is bad only a painful very painful sting 😂. Also the Scotch Grey Mozzies will carry you off, or give you disease if your lucky 🍀 in Qld ,but apart from that we also have venomous Don’t let that put you off from coming, take care and stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺☕️🥰

Unfortunately the midgey season is July, August and September, just in time for the main tourist season. Theyre normally out in the morning and evenings on dull moist days. They dont like sun and a wee wind can keep them away but it can be a challenge sometimes and I always found Skye the worst place for midgeys.
Midges are the worst in Ireland too
Last week of April – First week of May = No Midges😁😏👍 and the weather is usually good too😃

That was awesome meeting up with Tom at the top of a mountain what a spot. I use to think midges were a myth as never had any bother with them, but then went to Skye in August and had a similar experience to this. Loving the Scottish scenes and drone shots!
