Christmas time in Japan means that it’s time for some cake! The culture around Christmas Cakes goes way back and there are a ton varieties to choose from!
In this video, Charly and Victor head out to Yoyogi Park to partake 3 different types of cakes that are available around the holiday season in Japan. As a bonus, we will be trying out a very special “ramen cake” that looks just like the real thing!

Many of the cakes have to be purchased with a reservation, though you can also find them readily available at many department stores and bakeries all over Japan.
Price: Prices vary from ¥500 for the small cakes to upwards of ¥10,000 or more depending on how fancy you want to get.
