And so our big Japan tour comes to a close and brings us back to the country’s mighty capital Tokyo. The truth is, despite all the amazing towns and temples, countryside and culture that we absorbed, we did miss it a little bit.
We had two more full days to play in the capital and on the first we took in Sensoji and its neighbourhood, ate the best fried chicken ever, gawped at the geekiness of Akihabara, had a quick stop at the Ota Memorial Museum and had a night out in Ueno courtesy of my friend Mao.
Hell of a city, hell of a welcome back day!
