In 1175, a monk named Honen came upon a large stone and sat down on it.

When Honen took a nap, purple clouds hung over him for a long time in his dream, and a golden shining Buddhist monk of the Pure Land sect of China appeared.
As a result, Honen further strengthened his intention to open the Jodo sect, and built a hut on this land.
