BEST RAMEN IN JAPAN / KOKURA GION MATSURI | Ide Shoten | Wakayama Travel Guide

In this Vlog:

We finally depart Kii-Katsuura 紀伊勝浦, for Ide Shoten 井出書店 in Wakayama 和歌山, to try what was known to be the ‘best’ Ramen in Japan. Did it live up to the test?

Another ride on the Limited Express Kuroshio 特急くろしお towards Shin-Osaka, then we transferred for a Nozomi のぞみ Sanyo 新幹線 to Kokura 小倉,where we were staying for the night, and saw some parades for the Kokura Gion Festival 小倉祇園祭り.

After that, we headed down towards Fukuoka 福岡 to the infamous Yatai 屋台 food stalls, where we had some Ramen (again), before missing the last Shinkansen and having to pay $20 for a train back to Kokura.
