Festivals!! Tohoku has so many great events to make the most of each season in Japan. In winter, our favourite was Lake Towada’s Winter Story festival. Throw in some frozen waterfalls and some tasty tasty beef ‘barayaki’ and we reckon we’ve created the best Winter Story in Aomori!
