TOO CURVACEOUS FOR A YUKATA| YUKATA EXPERIENCE | COOKED 1ST JAPANESE MEAL | SUNFLOWER PARK| FESTIVAL

Yukata wearing experience in Fukui city.
The yukata is a summer ‘kimmono’ that requires a lot of precision. I was invited to a yukata wearing ceremony and because the wear is inspire by the wooden dolls, there is a certain shape one must try to attain. However given my curvaceous body it was a bit of a struggle, and my double DDs did not make it any better. This left me highly conscious of myself but I had to quickly understand that it is an attack on me.

After wearing our yukatas we headed to the Yōkōkan Garden in Fukui prefecture where we took a walk around as well as given a tour of a Japanese venue.

I cooked my first Japanese meal.

Visited a sunflower park/ field in Awara, Fukui ken, Japan.

And got the best city view of Fukui city.

I also went to Harue festival, Harue Matsuri. These are pretty common all across the prefecture given its summer now in Japan and everybody wants to spend time outside, when it’s not too hot.
