In this episode we reluctantly leave our pristine lake camp and make our way through countless water crossings to the “ghost” towns of McCarthy and Kennicott (also spelled Kennecott)!
We were simply blown away by the intrepid spirit and determination that was needed to even make this place a possibility. I mean, they literally hauled a steamboat across a mountain AND built a railroad 196 miles long across mountains, rivers, and moving glaciers!
Did it pay off in the end?… have a watch and see! 😉

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH US ALL.
Guys I owe you an apology… I made a sarcastic comment about driving through Canada 🇨🇦 and your computer catching a virus when crossing the closed border. I now feel like a grumpy Canadian …Again my apologies and safe adventures. Eric J
Can’t wait to head north. 👍👍
you're my favorite YouTuber
Just want to ask, did you guys think of using a 4×4 camper van before in your adventure? I think it might be a good idea but anyway I also like SUV
I think you should just start a traveling history show lol. You tell those stories very well.
What happen to your gray Toyota 4Runner?
i couldnt find your camping tent over your car whats the model could you tell me?
Should have left the boat flipped over so it won’t fill up from the rain.

Stunningly beautiful!!! Stupid question – On the water crossing leaving Roosevelt Lake how do you gauge that you’ll have enough clearance to cross?

Kevin, Sarah & Caroline, watch out you might get the bug to permanently move to Alaska where all the recreation at your doorstep. Many, many people have moved to AK. As a Canadian I love the Yukon! I always enjoy your videos.
Too good, I'm jealous. How do you come down from cloud nine, or do you stay there?
Music at aroind 6 min turned me off, I muted it as it's too gay or religious or something.
I am a fan of your channel, but.

Love your videos can't be better ! New Subscriber Here. Cheers 🥂 from Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Might have been better to leave the boat turned over not only to use it to protect the gear from the elements, but the boat won't fill up with water.
Great story telling. Cheers
Love from India nice place😍
Great video. We are going from Indiana next year for 12 weeks in our truck camper.
Keep the vids coming, it is an inspiration.
Very nice
Nice place ! I hope you placed the fishing gear under a boat upside down from the weather not on the edge of the lake where in the video you left it. I am enjoying your trip so far. Stay safe and enjoy the great of outdoors! Around Bend Oregon out!
What kind of chairs do you have? They are so compact
You do great videography.
I love the drone shots. The details of the glacier. It's those details that we love your channel. Keep it up
Lovely indeed!

Alaskan, born and raised. It just warmed my heart to see another human being pick up trash that wasn't theirs and haul it out of the woods. Thank you. 😊
You guys are literally living my dream.
It’s like I’m having a virtual field trip! Love it!
Much love, from the Philippines
