The Akagawa Firework Festival is by far the largest attraction in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture each year. Over an hour’s worth of colorful bursts and sparklers shooting up from the ground along the riverbanks! All brought to you by some of the best pyrotechnicians Japan has to offer. This year’s Smile & Peace show will be on August 20th, 2022.
