Visited the #1 World's Longest Suspension Bridge (Kobe, Japan)

🌎 KOBE, JAPAN
In this video, we will be going through Kobe Harborland and then walk to the shoreline where the “Pearl Bridge”, a suspension bridge in Japan that crosses the Akashi Strait linking Maiko, in Kobe, and Iwaya, in Awaji town on Awaji Island. The construction was finished around 1998. It serves as a connection between the city of Kobe and Awaji Island, going over the famous Akashi Strait. It has a 1991 meters—6,523 feet—of the unsupported span, the bridge is the longest suspension bridge or unsupported span on a bridge in the Earth. This designed by Honshu Shikoku Bridge Authority and the designed has a two-hinged stiffening girder system, allowing the structure to withstand winds of 178 mph and earthquakes measuring 8.5 on the Richter scale. To dampen the forces exerted on the Akashi KaikyĹŤ bridge, it has a pendulum system that operates at the resonance frequency. The two main towers of the Akashi KaikyĹŤ are 978 ft over sea level, and due to its design, the suspension bridge can expand up to 7 feet, due to the heating of the structure.

We then, visited primary areas where Sakura or Cherry Blossoms are about to show their beauty. It is yet fully bloomed but they are starting to portray the rise of new life, new season, the spring.
