End of an Era: 21-Hour Ferry Suite Journey in Japan (Before the Fare Hike)

Shin Nihonkai Ferry’s massive suites will see a significant price hike starting June 2026. Since they’re about to become out of reach, I headed back to experience the journey from Hokkaido to Tsuruga one last time.

  1. Thank you Solo-San, for another wonderful and relaxing journey. Konnichiwa!! โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆโœŒ๏ธ

  2. So when you do your tours of the ship it's like you are there all by yourself, like it's a ghost ship. It's a bit eerie. No voices no glimpses of people except when you're in the restaurant. It's all foggy outside and there are no people.

  3. Let me guess, theyโ€™re using gas prices to justify making it almost impossible for average people to afford using their services.

  4. Hello Solo san ๐Ÿ˜ƒNice video again. I know it's nonsense, but the more I watch videos about Japan and culture, the more it seems to me that if the World were as organized and beautiful as Japan is, everyone would be very happy and well … ๐Ÿ‘

  5. Hopefully the new price is just for the summer season.
It doesn't look like they have many passengers during the winter.
    Love your videos.

  6. I know you're watching your wallet, but I'd really love to see a suite video during the summer season when all of the amenities are available.
