One of my favorite souvenirs from Japan was my stamp book. After our previous trip to Japan in 2023, this is one thing we wish we did. So, as soon as we landed at Narita Airport, we stopped by the Travelers Factory Store to pick up some of their notebook insert exclusives. Stamps are common in Japanese culture. From the Hungo, which are personal signature sales of your name, to go, which are stamps from temples and shrines dedicated to a special booklet called a go. We primarily focused on collecting stamps at the train stations to remember where we visited. These are Ekki stamps which are found at many train stations around Japan. Near where you scan your IC card, there’s typically a window where you can ask if they have any stamps specific to their station. We said eky stample and they would point us in the right direction. A lot for maybe an extra 5 minutes at the train station in case you get lost like we did. Collecting stamps is a great souvenir to remember your Japan trip are. Each stamp is unique and holds a special memory. Would definitely recommend.

we wanted to document each city we visited throughout our trip and looking back at this book brings back so much positive memories from the trip ☺️
