This is the best flea market in Japan! That I know of, anyway….On the 21st of every month, sellers converge on the grounds of the 8th century Toji Temple for Kobo Ichci – Kyoto’s best Flea Market. Whatever you’re looking for, from kimonos to Samurai swords to lovely, hand-drawn art, this market has it. Throw in some good food and the atmosphere that comes from being located on a working Buddhist temple and you’ve got the recipe for a truly unique travel experience!
