we will never stay in a capsule hotel in Tokyo again This one was located in Korea Town Men and women was placed on separate floors You get a small locker for your suitcase and belongings which is a bit hard to manage if you have a lot of stuff The bathrooms were clean and they even let you choose the shampoo you like Now it’s about the capsule itself It was super sensitive to movement so you couldn’t talk play anything on your phone or even set an alarm The woman’s flow was peaceful People were quiet only make soft sounds when leaving in the morning I slept well and woke up feeling rested But on the men’s floor it was a completely different experience People talk loudly wear shoes inside which wasn’t allowed Someone in the capsule next to my husband was touching himself during the night which made him really uncomfortable Morning is popping right now Did I like it Yes My experience wasn’t bad Did my husband like it Definitely not Would we come back

Ngl… after my experience in mixed and women only hostel rooms (in Japan), i will never choose the mixed ones again if i can avoid it. Men are not socially trained to be considerate (oftentimes), and that just becomes so apparent: drinking smelly energy drinks at night, talking loudly, allowing themselves to be more messy or take up more space than what is necessary theirs. And on an unfortunate note – they also seem to have more problems with snoring, which results in an insane volume of noise at night, when 4 men in a tiny room do it in canon.
The women only were way more tidier and often had the same energy as the girls' toilets when partying – "Oh, you need something? Wait, let me check" – just overall more conducive to a comfortable stay and most important a good night sleep
I’m scared to go there just because everyone I know says I snore when I sleep. And it can get loud. So I’m scared to go in case I’ll bother the other customers 😅
