The Japanese-Indonesian Friendship Festival commemorated its 10th anniversary in Yoyogi Park last weekend. Presented by CPI Japan, a non-profit organization aimed at promoting intercultural ties between both countries, the festival featured several Indonesian food stalls and traditional dance performances by various art troupes. One of them was Krida Nusantara, which comprised talented high school students from Bandung City, Indonesia. Kikufumi Konishi, head of CPI Japan, hopes that this festival will continue to foster a sense of mutual assistance and understanding between Japan and Indonesia. (Kendrea Liew/Marco Christian)
