from asking the station attendant for directions in japanese to getting caught in the summer rain— i had fun navigating nagoya. and i definitely got the healing i needed after freshman year at uni. also, the highlight of my stay would probably be getting to see satsuki and mei’s house! i highly recommend going there if you’re a fan of my neighbor totoro or just studio ghibli in general. i don’t know when i’ll be back to explore japan but i’m already looking forward to it 🙂
