The Sunrise train is the only sleeper train that operates every day, yet is it difficult to book recently. Reservations can be made from one month in advance on the JR West website. Let’s get a drink. Now, let’s get on board. The first floor is a Sunrise Twin B that can accommodate two people.

Seto Ohashi Bridge Good morning. and the Seto Inland Sea. Just so beautiful. This is another highlight of this journey. Tanjiro’s house. It’s almost the end. Thank you for the very pleasant time. Single DX room is the best. Takamatsu Station is called Udon Station. I have visited many udon restaurants.

I’m going to look for a slightly different Takamatsu Udon. Thank you for getting me this far safely. By the way, Sunrise Express is 26 years old, is originally the last regular sleeper train that could retire at any time. Before heading out on this Takamatsu expedition, I put my backpack in a locker.

Head to the basement Rental Cycle ¥200/day cheap and efficient way of exploring the city especially on a good sunny day like today First step is the Seto Inland sea pretty clear waters. I love my water the big bridge we crossed earlier is quite far buddy … I kinda hate water

Now, let’s move on to the next location. Goodbye, Seto Inland Sea. Not many udon shops open until the evening. I can just go visit the regular place but i want to go a place i haven’t yet tired. This place was opened let’s give it a try.

There are various types of udon. It’s chilly so I wanted something that would warm me up And I ordered Curry udon and tempura (540 yen) that’s a lot of scallions Thank you for the meal. After a meal is a nice walk in the park.

Ritsurin Park (410 yen), a special scenic spot in Takamatsu City, The plum is already in bloom. so are the cherry blossoms. the water is so clear that it looks like the fish is levitating. look at that gold koi There is also a bird I have no food There are many viewing points.

This is one of them. Hiraiho Hill, an artificial mountain has been built to look like Mt. Fuji, is the best view point in the park. Kikugetu Tei teahouse. built almost 400 years ago Looks like I can enjoy some sweets inside Looks like it’s quite a popular resting spot my snacko arrives

Lastly, I am visiting just across takamatsu station Tamamo Park(entrance fee is 200yen) This is another famous park. This park built around the ruins of Takamatsu Castle, is one of Japan’s three major water castles. boat in the moat It looks like Takamatsu Castle here. But this seems to be a turret, not a castle.

What was the castle is now a ruin. But it still looks good. Let’s go back to Tokyo. This time we will take a bus from Takamatsu to Osaka. I’ll have some delicious sweets. Let’s go slowly to Osaka. Udon places are everywhere. Seto Ohashi Bridge is really nice. Thank you for watching.
