Now loading the video…. February 13th, 2024 Abeno, Osaka, Japan Welcome to 60th floor of ABENO HARUKAS, Osaka’s tallest building at 300 m/984 ft The spectacular night views of Osaka spread out before you Osaka is the 3rd populated city in Japan following Tokyo and Kanagawa

You should experience this high point of view when in Osaka as it’s breathtaking oh no this is so scary Abeno(Tennoji) is the 3rd busiest area in Osaka Before today’s main travel, let me have dinner in Abeno “Ichiran Ramen” In this restaurant, you order on the machine and get a meal ticket

An anonymous waiter gets you a meal in exchange of a ticket You eat in a solo cubicle The ramen of Ichiran is top notch and is loved by so many people They only serve this one item, Tonkotsu which is made by pork bones (980JPY/6.8USD) Ichiran is a heaven for introverts!

The restaurant features “non face-to-face communication” Unique but a bit weird You can order extra items on the paper Another anonymous waiter will come get the paper and coins Change Ordered a noodle refill (210JPY/1.4USD) Water is from the personal tap 10:15PM, Umeda (The busiest district of Osaka)

Today, we take another overnight bus between Osaka and Tokyo We will ride “Dream Rulier” Known as one of the luxurious buses in Japan The bus leaves from the underground terminal under Osaka Station It leaves at 11:00PM and travels to Tokyo Station bus terminal for about 8 hours

2 classes available like an airplane: Precious(first) and Advance(business) For this travel, I took the Advance class The fare in Advance was “9,800JPY/68.6USD” Precious would cost around 14,000JPY/98.0USD 4 seats of Precious Class 14 seats of Advance Class The cabin has no overhead luggage compartment only a rack for small belongings You get slippers banket

And complimentary items for a comfortable ride You first notice that there are so many curtains between seats feeling cramped It’s a little bit like in a hospital The legroom is not so spacious You can use an ottoman where items can be stored Drink holder Smart phone holder

Oh, the person in front of me reclined the seat to its lowest position It got much more cramped omg help me out Reading light Neckrest The seat is given a name “Cradle” which means that it reclines like a cradle Thus the seat is very comfortable Power outlet The bus departed on time

The cabin is full of passengers now and someone’s feet reek For a comfortable ride, a pack of wet tissue tooth cleaner You can wipe your teeth with a wet towel ateamed hot eye mask A warmed eye mask surrounds your tired eyes Many night buses in Japan provide this item for free to passengers

The bus turned into night sleeping mode after about 10 mins But still you can use a light But this may harm your eyes Running side by side with an Osaka Metro train like Chicago in the States A restroom on board It’s clean and feels new but smells A mirror Cramped sink

Seat cleaner, thanks Looks like I’m the first one to use the toilet for this ride I was surprised at its quietness like a home toilet 12:57AM Stop at a rest area We’ve got about 20 mins Here is Gozaisho Service Area in Mie Prefecture

A Service Area usually has a convenience store, souvenir shop, and food court or restaurant I’ll get a light meal as I’m a bit hungry They have Udon, Ramen, Curry, and some local cuisines hmm I’ll get a ramen! Super hungry At a Service Area, you can get drinks for free

Water, hot water, roasted green tea, and green tea are available That was too much Soy sauce ramen, 600JPY/4.2USD with bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, char siu porks, and an egg Being simple is best for ramen It’s fun just walking in the service area as they have many unique items Restrooms are usually very clean

And more spacious than a bus restroom The night cruising on a highway is so relaxing I like it so much Good morning, 5:05AM Second rest stop at Ayuzawa Parking Area in Shizuoka Prefecture Let’s walk a bit This rest area has a mini arcade! In Japan, Chiikawa is so popular among young people

But I don’t like it so much Oh I want this so badly Let’s give it a shot hmmm hmmmmm I slept well afterwards and arrived in Tokyo We are in the Marunouchi district of Tokyo, where the headquarters of large companies are gathered Will soon reach Tokyo Station

The bus drops us at Nihombashi Entrance of the station Arrived at 7:15AM The bus was actually comfortable and I slept well But the space felt cramped with so many curtains I bet Precious Class would be far better Thank you for watching the video today Stay tuned for the upcoming episodes in Tokyo!

More travels to come on travelgeek! Rock, Scissors, Paper…. 1 2 3 “Rock” See you in the next travel!

  1. wauuu saya amat sukainyaa untuk jimat duit dan juga korban sedikit keselesaan saya lebih suka bass ini dia juga bagus memandu dengan berhemah dan juga sampai tepat masanya

  2. I appreciate your videos because Japan appears to be very precise but I don't read the language and I fear making n offensive mistake.

  3. I lost it laughing when you said someone's feet reeked. I almost choked on my food I was eating hahaha that was so funny. I didn't expect it

  4. Saying with the utmost respect, you can see why Japan's birth rate is so extremely low. They have institutionalized person isolation.

  6. I don't think the non verbal communication setup is weird at all. I have severe anxiety and find it practically impossible to talk to strangers if they don't talk to me first. And I know more and more people are being diagnosed with autism, and many people with autism are non-verbal, so this would be great for them as well.

  7. You had me laughing in that bus seat. That was like a comedy sketch. 😂 But it's nice to see some budget options.

  8. I don't like buses, especially that kind. There is almost no ventilation or breathing room. I would feel trapped in there. I much prefer trains….you get way more space to move around.

  10. Sorry mate as a 6' 4" tall Aussie there is absolutely no way I'd be sitting in that claustrophobic space for 8 long hours !!!!

  11. Спасибо, друг! Но тема с неприятным запахом не раскрыта)))

  12. I love your videos man love the style in which you create thanks for sharing your travel in Japan with viewers

  13. 9:20. For some reason, I thought you were on a train and I was very confused as to why there was rail on both sides of a one lane road.
