In today’s episode, we did a day trip from osaka to kobe. we accidentally hiked up a mountain, it got real misty and we heard sirens. what in the silent hill was going on?!

Hi I’m Ann, this is my partner Levi ..and we’re in Japan! In today’s episode we explore Kobe.. ..accidentally hike up a mountain.. I didn’t expect us to get lost like this! ..eat A5 wagyu beef and more! So go get yourselves comfy and enjoy this cosy vlog. Ohayo gozaimasu! So… last night didn’t happen

As soon as we got to the Airbnb we showered and freshened up and then I was waiting for Levi to get ready then suddenly it had hit me of how extremely tired I was and then I was like “can we take a nap..” “just half an hour..”

Then half an hour turned into an hour turned into an hour and a half and I was like “I don’t wanna go out anymore.” “I’m really exhausted” we just slept all night which I think was a good thing— —Nah. I know it was a good thing cause I woke up not feeling bloated

I didn’t have swollen legs from all the walking I feel refreshed I feel happy I feel energized so I’m really glad we had that rest instead of forcing myself to go out just to see everything we’re going to Kobe and we’re gonna try out Kobe beef! Pokemon doughnuts

And I think if you get a Pokemon doughnut.. ..you get one of these. You get a little pouch! But NOH! I can’t be eating anymore of these sweet things —for now cause I’ve been so bloated the last few days “Well, well.” This is where we’re gonna head to!

It doesn’t look it but it’s quite steep! so this area is called the Haizan Walking path and we’re gonna go up to see the waterfall We pretty much have this whole trail to ourselves! Levi: Woo! it’s probably cause it’s a wet day today or it’s just really early

I thought we’d be seeing more tourists along this route Oh no, the branch doesn’t want us to go through Can we go through? Okay, thank you for letting me through, branch. Whoa.. This one random Chinese fan palm on the ground there love a good nature walk just come across this path

That goes all the way up there I’m not sure what that means It translated to “One day law book from the pine trees” “That makes no sense!” If we’re done in this area- —We’ve got about 250 meters to go we’ll head back and go up there maybe?? Levi: Wait..! Ann: “Wait” what?

Levi: This might not be the end! Ann: Is it not..? Levi: There are stairs! Ann: But the view’s so good up here already.. [Ann panting] this isn’t the way to the waterfall guys But we are getting a spectacular view up here and I’m sweaty I didn’t expect us to get lost like this

Levi: I wouldn’t say we’re lost Ehh… we’re not in the right spot for the falls is what I’m trying to say We continued going up even though we knew the waterfall wasn’t here. Ann: Guys look —there’s mist over there Levi: I think we’re in clouds Ann: Uhh.. Should we be up here?

We’ve been hiking for an hour and 10 minutes now we’re at a really high viewpoint We saw a nice city skyline it’s getting quite windy up here so I think it’s best we go back down ‘Cus no one’s around —No one. Nobody at all and no one knows we’re here

Let’s be responsible now; let’s go No more curiosity so misty in this particular area! Guys, do you hear this? Like, we’re hearing this from the top of the mountain I thought it was police sirens at first the siren sounds have been continuously going now for the last 10-15 minutes.

And that’s definitely not the sound of a police siren or an ambulance if it’s going on and still this loud so we’re back here again that makes me feel like we’ve got to a safe spot I’m standing in the forest by myself cause I stupidly dropped my hat and didn’t realise

So Levi’s gone back up to get it but I don’t know how far back it was that I dropped my hat Bruh, we came from up the mountain trail.. —took the completely opposite direction this is where is to Nunobiki Falls..in that direction We finally made it to the waterfall!

After all of that hiking. it was so worth just to come here even for a brief moment to see something really peaceful Ann: Let’s have a look at this map again and see what we did Ann: Do you wanna explain? Levi: We should have gone this way, all the way up to here

—But we went here all the way along here and got here but we were like “ah-” “..but surely a waterfall would be at the top” so we went and then we went all the way here we are at Ikuta Jinja which is one of Japan’s oldest Shinto shrines I love seeing beautiful

Temples and shrines in the middle of the city Time to try out Kobe beef! Let’s go! These people being turned away! Mmmm~ This duck has so much flavour Wow~! 美味しい [Oishii] Chef: 美味しいありがとうございました! [Oishii, arigatou gozaimasu!] That’s so different It’s really soft and tender It’s like butter. It’s like butter, so smooth

Mustard and soy sauce Mmmm~ Black pepper Oh my God, that Kobe steak it was just melt-in-your-mouth full of flavour, full of juices Mmmm! I could eat that again the serving they give you was a perfect amount we chose the heaviest amount of um, steak you could buy

Which is 190 grams and oh, my God –it was just ahhh that’s my review of it -Ahhhh! [Laughs] It’s Chinatown! let’s try out these glazed strawberries I think you’ll like this You’ll like it a lot –the strawberries are really sweet and I thought that the hard candy part was gonna be sweeter

Like really sweet but it’s like, a good amount of sweetness Just having a little walk around Kobe we’re in the area that we saw from the peak so there’s the port that’s a hotel I thought from the Mountain top it was um a ship

But it’s actually a hotel and if you can see there those were the mountains that we hiked up we didn’t get to the peak but we got high enough Guys.. look at this carb overload it’s a cake in buns I wanted to try it cause it was the only one left

And I thought maybe it was really popular –it must taste really good if it’s the only one left! It’s literally just cake in buns… doesn’t even taste special; it’s just cake in buns I’m tired.. We’re going back to Osaka now. Back to our Airbnb and rest

It’s really hit with with how tired I am especially after that mountain trail climb!
