You missed mentioning the after party. The official part ends quite soon for western standards, around 5pm. Then, the younger people go to the after party, typically organised by good friends. At my own wedding, we even finished up with some karaoke ๐
๐its so beautiful but come to think of ot you and your wife did not have a traditional wedding i saw your wedding day was seriously modist and personal between you and your wife ๐
My gods, looks like to me every important moments in Japanese life is very complicated with all these rules. From birth, to date, to get married, to get divorce, till you die. In itself, this is typical life but with all this insane amount of extra rigid rules to follow. I'm more of the easy going, laid back, no pressure, no overthinking hard of every single details. In trying so hard to not offend/appear rude to everyone, this is…so exhausting, time consuming and hella pricey ๐ญ๐ธ

This is based off western traditions, what about a traditional japanese ceromony?
This is so nice. Unlike a Filipino wedding, everyone disappears right after finishing dinner.
Free gift for showing up (by giving up fresh ยฅ30,000 bills)
How about the after party (when the elderly guests have left)? I forgot where I have come across this piece of information…
Should I ever marry, I dont think I could do a wedding like that. too much people.

Almost the same as Chile except you finish with a huge party in the same place where you dined

so gorgeous! I would love to photograph a Japanese wedding!
But there are traditional weddings too. That are nothing like the west.
Usually in western weddings the kiss is on the lips not on the forehead. Still very cute btw
