Peakrankings! epic -;)
New Zealand Chile and Argentina are all open this NH summer😂 Oh and Australia. It is snowing in the mountains today and they make plenty. I think Perisher Hotham and Falls are on the Epic pass⛷️⛷️⛷️
I choose both!😂
Or fly to south America like a man of culture
Don’t forget about skiing in the Southern Hemisphere. Australia and New Zealand offer skiing from June to October in most years as do Chile and Argentina. I live in Australia and we have 5 main resorts in Perisher and Thredbo in NSW and Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buller in Victoria. Perisher has a area of 1245 acres and 47 lifts across 4 mountains. Thredbo has the longest trail at 5.9km with a vertical drop of 672m. Whilst you don’t get deep powder snow, it’s a real experience skiing through snow gum trees and I’ve seen kangaroos, wombats and echidnas hopping or waking along the trails at Perisher over the years. New Zealand can be great as well but I’ve found to be a bit more temperamental. In their best years, NZ skiing is heaps better than Australia particularly in snow quality around the Lake Wanaka resorts and in Canterbury but in average or bad years, I reckon Australian skiing is better and is certainly better developed in terms of resort size and facilities.
what if i dont wanna ski in summer but ONLY wanna ski in the winter ?
Did a three-day trip to Austria’s Hintertux Glacier in late May. Lucked out with the conditions, as it snowed a foot and a half my first day there, leading to some incredible conditions the next two days.
Mammoth is still great, I got in a few more days this week!! I'm going to Alpine on the 4th of July!!
Welcome to the East coast conditions during the winter

hey man, if you ever get the chance please come ski down in new zealand. we have 5 major ski areas with 4 of those located in driving distance from eachother. Something unique about skiing in NZ is the lack of trees, this means that there is alot more oppertunity to ski off-piste and along with the incredible views its a pretty cool thing to do.
