Japan tourist visa checklist:
– Covering letter (This should be kept in other visa application documents)
– visa application
– Aadhar copy
– Passport (need to have two passports old and new)
– Itinerary (a rough one)
– Hotel booking copies
– Flight tickets
– 3-year Income tax return acknowledgement
– 6 months bank statement
– Sponsorship letter (from someone who have IT and bank statements in your family, if you don’t have them)
– Bonafide (from the College / School)
– College / School ID
– Proof for leave applied
– Minimum 2 photos (45mm to 35mm) (2in x 1.4in)
Fees – 550/-
Tips:
– Always start early, since it takes some time to arrange all these documents for everyone.
– Carry two passports (old and new passport) all times, even during your vacation in Japan.
– After applying, keep a check on your email for any mail from the embassy requesting for any additional documents.
