  1. I speak a lot on Disney's favors from Florida with the Reedy Creek district and how it is fine to make Disney play by the same rules as everyone else. But the no fly zone is just silly. Not flying over Disney and other major densely population points should be protected.

  2. The no-fly zone at WDW is so small it’s hard to see how it serves any practical security function. Seems more like Disney wants to keep it around purely for aesthetic reasons in which case it, like RCID, gives it an unfair advantage over the competition.

Also, for those interested, Midway to Mainstreet did a fantastic video on the Disney no-fly zone awhile back.

  3. Lol maybe if they stopped building me hotel rooms and hotels they'd fill what they have better.

Also, missed opportunity to not have merida (a pixar pricess) meet there at the new pixar area.

  4. Agreed. There is not much new for the passholders and locals alluring us this summer. I think also why they doing the VIPPassholder gimmick as well. That is a great pass 1 park per day sampler option.

  5. We had to push our February trip to the summer because of medical issues so I have my fingers crossed for lighter crowds! We’re going to have to take a break in the heat of the day so I’m hoping less crowds mean we can still get the same amount done.

  6. I wish there was a no fly zone over Universal Properties. I hate hearing the helicopters fly over when where there enjoying the lands.

  7. They should put live cams at the parks and you could only access them from Disney+ . Great conversation today. Vault addition all the way would also be great.

  8. I think parkhotel prices skyrocketing the last few years is why attendance is down, glad to see them offering some deals.

  9. I'm from PA and I think the 1 park per day ticket sounds great, I'm actually tempted! The only time I do an extra day is for the Halloween party and we never pay to park hop. We usually enjoy each park for the full day and then take a day to relax or do like Disney Springs. When you only go once in a few years, this is a good deal! I can see the pros and cons of course too. Good info!

  10. Parents are taking their kids of out public school and going private. Enrollment shows this. As a result, households are spending thousands on what used to be “free.” That absolutely will impact Disney. We’re seeing a paradigm shift where parents are being intentional with what their kids are being exposed to, and Disney is on the wrong side of this one in a massive way.

  11. Iger pushed so hard and so fast for streaming (pre pandemic), it seems like they didn’t think about consequences of how it would neuter other revenue streams: dvd/blu ray sales, gone; post theatrical streaming rentals and purchases, gone; and most importantly, secondary licensing deals, gone, and those deals added hardly zero expense and all profit (original Netflix deal was $500m, and you’d think a newer deal would’ve been worth way more.) … but those deals are gone now too (*and using the vault as a strategic tool for D+, to add a tier to it and such)

  12. Agree on Disney+, I subscribed to see more Disney content, like the Imagineering series, the old Disneyland content, etc. It seems like all that is on is Marvel and Star Wars content. Not interested. Probably won’t renew this time around. Time to diversify content.

  13. My night was made again with another viewing of Ryno and Craig on the coaster. Couldn’t love it more! Great conversation today. Reminded me of “Off the Rails”, and that’s always a good thing.

  14. Planes fly over Disney World, so my guess it’s going to fly at take off and landing height? Not saying a 100 ft above.

  15. First. Erica did you learn nothing from
COVID? Why are you showing up to work when you’re feeling sick and putting everyone else at risk for cold/flu/COVID etc? Doesn’t Pete provide you guys with any sick benefits. Stay home!!
Second. No-fly-zones. Total BS! This isn’t about safety, otherwise all the other parks would have received the same special treatment. This is one more tiny advantage Disney had over their competitors. Also…do you really think someone that is trying to take over a plane to fly it into Disney is going to say to themselves “oh hey, Disney has a no-fly zone, so I wouldn’t want to get in trouble for flying into it while I murder 1000’s of people.” Once that jet breaks into the Disney no-fly zone it will take about 6 seconds to reach the Magic Kingdom, so if you think you’re safer with a no-fly zone then you must be the same type of person that thinks a criminal will just give up their guns too. Too many stupid gullible people in this world.

  16. Yes Craig. You are incorrect.
Most of us , dvc for me especially, want to keep returning. And go-to the same hotel and same restaurants ect.
Your show could benefit from a non resident perspective. But not someone who goes 5 times a year. The local perspective definitely makes a difference.

  17. Not sure how they can say summer is soft. There are many days in June you can’t get park reservations.

  18. Just here to say how stunning Erica looked in the Space 220 review episode.

You guys are all doing great work with the show!

  19. We took advantage of the magic ticket back in 2017, for my honeymoon, as a “first timer” as an adult, it was perfect. We didnt want to hop, and stayed off property. Ever since we go every year, and can do shorter trips and absolutely park hop. And skip parks. But i think its a great deal for people that dont come often or as a first timer

  20. Was at WDW last week, and definitely saw some type of aircraft flying over MK during Happily Ever After!!

  21. These Tuesday shows are the best. My family and I are going to Disney world this November.
