This walk shows you the biggest summer night festival in Asahikawa.
In August “Asahikawa 3.6 festival (旭川3・6祭)” was held for the first time in 3 years.
In this city it’s one of biggest festival, and so many citizen visit.
“3.6” is an address of the famous nightlife area of this city.
It’s close from city’s main station (you can reach in just 3 minutes from station), and lined with many Japanese bar.
The programm of this festival had rich contents, parade of portable shrine (お神輿), clapper dance (Sōran Bushi), Japanese drum session (和太鼓), night stage and street foods, ramen festival and so on.
I could’t see all of them (stayed around 4 hours), but hope you can feel atmosphere in the festival.
