Naruto is a beautiful place, a little tip of land with a bridge crossing over to Awaji Island that is connected to Japan’s great Honshu island by the longest suspension bridge in the world, Akashi Kaikyo bridge. As if that’s not cool enough, beneath Naruto bridge is the famous Naruto tidal whirlpools you can view by boat or from the bridge. We spent the night beside the bridge, enjoying Japanese food & an onsen overlooking the beautiful views of the Naruto Strait.
