What’s the trade-off if you book the cheapest Alaska cruise you can find with Royal Caribbean? Is it still worth it to sail to Alaska in an inside cabin?

hey, need a little help here. will i still be able to board the symphony of the seas without a setsail pass? the royal carribean app + website is down currently and we sail in less than 24 hours. please help!!!
Thank you for this great and informative video!
I like how this video is laid out by giving prices for everything
We took this route and agree balconys hardly woth the cost. I would agree whale watching out of juneau and preplanning train between seward and Anchorage well worth it. The train includes guided commentary and photo stops and the coach class is good with access to the viewing car a bonus. Definately take the white pass rail but book it direct in advance to avoid paying extra on board. All day trips booked on the wharf will be with cruisers who pay as much as double
Great video! Can’t wait to see Alaska next year!
This is a fantastic rundown! It's informative, clear, professional, and the shots are great. I especially appreciate how you detailed your costs, which is really helpful. I hope to see more posts like this in the future!
There is no Egyptian hospitality, before being offered tea or coffee ☕ first.
Great video.
We are taking a friend on her first cruise, and it will be to Alaska! ( August or September? 2024 )
Currently, we are trying to decide which of the RCI or CCL ships/itineraries to take.
It would be very helpful if the other cruise mentioned in this video was linked to this page.
Thanks so much.
Your video was very clear and concise. We too booked the cheapest room just because I knew our flights from the east coast were going to be more than the cruise. I sadly have to say that Alaska was my least favorite vacation. Plus we found embarkation to be the most chaotic and it was our worse one yet, with no guides from the people were having to go in circles. Many passengers were getting upset from the lack of direction. The only highlight from our cruise was we got to meet up with friends.
Thanks for the video
You speak too fast!!! Slow your speech down please
You talk so fast, it's exhausting
💗
I enjoyed your account of your trip so very much! You captured so much magic of the area and Im absolutely inspired to try this trip.
@Jenna DeLaurentis: How do we book the shuttle to travel from Seward to Anchorage?
Thanks for sharing your Alaska cruise! I enjoyed hearing and learning so much. Still a Alaska cruise for $1,600 per person seems like a really good deal to me. Thanks again!!!
Nice to all ekstras…eks cruise
If you ever find yourself in Seward stay at the nauti otter. It's Alaskan as it gets
Just watched your video. My wife and I were on your ship. We loved Alaska. It was for our 50th anniversary so we booked a grand suite. We spent a boat load on this trip, no regrets. Ps that last cruise day was a rough day 🤢
Absolutely fantastic video, Jenna. I love how authentic and down to earth this felt. I felt like you documented your trip in an informative, clear, and relatable way because your focus was making great content rather than clickbait
Can’t wait for your next one
Great video, Jenna!
Alaska is one of my favourite cruising destinations, but it's not for everyone. If you're into warm holidays, partying and beaches… Alaska may not be for you. But we love it.
I actually think you did Alaska the best way possible – a one-way cruise allows you to tour inland Alaska as well and check out Denali National Park. And you spend more time cruising in Alaska, while a round trip cruise wastes time getting to and from Alaska.
IMO the smaller ships are best suited to Alaska as the destination is the attraction. I would also argue that a balcony is not so necessary, I much prefer viewing the scenery on deck or the promenade as you then have more flexibility on which side you view from.
We cruised Alaska in 2007 and 2017… and looking forward to our next trip in 2027!
The shuttle in ISP is actually $5/person
Loved this video! I have not seen anyone else break down costs the way you have in addition to presenting a detailed, thorough, and professional recounting of your experience. It's great to hear the views of someone in my grown kids age range. I would love it if you did some of these type vlogs in the Caribbean, Mexico, etc. Hope to hear much more from you on this channel!
Oh wow were you on last week's sailing? I definitely was haha
Stop yelling. Most of your videos are just high energy but this one is plain loud
Happy cruising and greetings from RCCL crew member 🇮🇩👋
I lived in Alaska for 40 yrs.
