If you’re arriving in the Tokyo area, this is one of a few stations you are likely to transfer at on your journey. This video is a quick walk around the historic Yanaka neighborhood close to Nippori Station. The area wasn’t as devastated as many parts of Tokyo during WW2 and has some surviving architecture and local flavor as you walk around. Lots of shrines, temples, and local neighborhood streets to explore.
