One of the most scenic tours you can do in Japan is the ropeway from Hakone to Lake Ashi. Our trip starts from a train ride to Shinjuku Station to Hakone. Marvel at the amazing Hakone. Climb Mt Hakone on a cable car (Hakone Ropeway) and sightsee around volcanic Ohwakudani. Our tour summits on a mountain top with active volcanic vents spewing sulphurous steam and visitor centers at both Mt. Komagatake and the shore of Lake Ashinoko. When the eather is clear, the views of Fuji-sama are apparently first-class. Unfortunately, we had a cloudy day, so we had to focus on other aspects of the tour.
