✨ Restaurants in Tokyo with vegetarian options: https://cakeswithfaces.co.uk/japan/vegetarian-restaurants-in-japan/

The biggest travel updates this time are about JESTA (Japan’s ESTA) and the new fees to enter Japan, as well as tap to ride on the Tokyo Metro. The Museum of Narratives has just opened in Tokyo, and there’s still time catch the cherry blossoms, then wisteria festivals around Japan. There are cute anime collabs on the trains and shinkansen, featuring Sound Euphonium, Love Live and Pokemon, plus a kawaii Suica penguin buffet in Ikebukuro. You can get Pokemon crepes in Harajuku, and there’s a new Pikachu plane from China Airlines. There are new themed hotel rooms featuring Pokemon and Pompom Purin, and an upcoming Studio Ghibli exhibition of panorma boxes at the Ghibli Park near Nagoya.

  1. Thank you! Im soon going to Japan and i"ve been looking for vid like this, new thing and things to to and not just "I ate only 7/11 for 24h"

  2. My trip won't be until November, but I still love those videos 😀 There are always so many interesting tidbits in there!

  3. Yay new video 🎉 just got back from my first ever trip from Japan and your videos helped me a lot, can't wait to return 🤩

  4. So, JESTA is essentially Visit Japan Web, but then paid.

Also had a quick look at the cherry blossom forecast, and it looks like they are early this year. Might need to travel to Hokkaido by the time I'm there 😅

There's another reason why I will keep using my IC card instead of tap-to-pay: speed. When I look at people using their debit or credit card, you can see it is slower than an IC card. If everyone did that, you would need more gates during rush hour.

  5. China Airlines is a taiwanese Airline so this shouldn´t be a problem if there is no war happening in the area. Taiwan calls themselve as the republic of China. Wonderful land by the way.

  6. Rainbow sprinkles on buttered bread is called Fairy Bread in Australia, mainly for children’s parties. Chocolate sprinkles on toast is a German thing. It’s a surprisingly good mix!
