It’s hard to believe a one way first class ticket with a private spacious Japanese cabin is only $122; even with a sumptuous homestyle all you can eat buffet it’s only $13.
I would have used at least two of those mats and hoped the heck I could get up!! Eating Ice cream with chopsticks, really STJ!! At least you got some sleep, so on to the next adventure….

I would have placed one mattress atop the first, for greater comfort.
Is tatami a type of flooring like linoleum or hardwood, or is it what goes over your floor like a rug? If it's flooring, how is it cleaned? Sweep, mop, vacuum? Or if it's like a rug, do you just take it out and beat it like a rug?
