Autumn Train Adventure to Japan’s Hidden Mountain Gorges | Kurobe & Kanazawa | JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG

Good morning everyone, this is Mona😊 Today, I’m visiting Unazuki Onsen in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture. This is a hot spring resort known for its magnificent natural scenery. Wow, there’s a foot bath! It makes me want to relax in the hot spring. It’s warm♡ But! The reason I came here today is… This! I’m about to ride the Kurobe Gorge Trolley Train✨ We can enjoy a dynamic train journey that lets us feel the great outdoors with our whole body. Now, let’s go! I can’t get enough of this excitement♡ The wind feels so nice! Wow, beautiful😍 An unbelievably vibrant emerald-green lake. It is said that the tiny minerals in the water reflect sunlight, making it appear emerald green. Huh? Monkeys! There are so many monkeys🐒 The next thing I’ll see is the monkey suspension bridge. That bridge is said to have been built to allow monkeys to cross to the opposite bank. I heard that there is a Buddha stone around here… Ah! There it is! It feels incredibly adventurous. I’m almost at the first stop. I’ve arrived at Kuronagi Station. Actually, about a 20-minute walk from Kuronagi Station, there’s a hidden hot spring called Kuronagi Onsen. I can’t go this time, but I’d love to visit someday. The trolley train moves through the spectacular scenery. When I talked with the station staff before departure, they told me the autumn leaves are late this year. Even so, the mountains and gorges, just beginning to change color, are beautiful♡ I’m almost at the last station. Originally, this was just an intermediate station, but due to the impact of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, trains are currently operating only up to this point. I’ve arrived at Nekomata Station. It’s the only station in Japan whose name includes the word “cat.” Apparently, this station is not normally open to the public and is reserved for construction workers. I can’t wait for the whole line to open. Now, let’s head back to Unazuki Station for lunch! Thank you for this extraordinary adventure, Trolley Train🥰 This is a popular restaurant known for its delicious Kamameshi (Japanese rice pilaf cooked in an iron pot). Let’s order this! Wow, it looks delicious♡ Toyama is famous for its firefly squid. It has a rich flavor and is very delicious. Let’s take a look at the souvenir shop. There are lots of trolley train goods! This spoon is cute❤️ It’s about time to head to my next destination. I’ve arrived at Kanazawa Station. It’s a beautiful station where Japanese tradition and modern architecture blend. Now, let’s go for dinner! This is a famous sushi restaurant in Kanazawa. It seems its popularity comes from being able to enjoy fresh, high-quality Sushi ingredients at a relatively reasonable price. I’m happy♡ Since I’ve come all the way to Kanazawa, let’s splurge! Good night😉 Good morning! It’s raining on and off in Kanazawa today☔ Wow, that’s nice! It has a very Japanese charm. This is a garden reputed to be one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens. It’s a historic garden that was carefully created over many years. A garden in gentle and drizzling rain has a mystical beautiful charm. Rainy days aren’t so bad, either. Let’s go for a walk. The sound of the rain is soothing. I have arrived at one of Kanazawa’s most famous tourist spots, where traditional old townscapes remain. This area once flourished as a teahouse district. This is a shop specializing in matcha sweets. I can’t decide what to order. Wow, jiggly Warabi-mochi (Japanese traditional sweets)💚 Okay, I’ll have this! It is topped with plenty of matcha powder. Wow, beautiful♡ There are a variety of works on display, including Kutani ware. I’m mesmerized by the delicate designs and vibrant colors. I head to my next destination. This is a lively market with around 170 stores lined up. It’s a seafood paradise😋 Let’s eat! A harmony of plump texture and the scent of the sea. Rich flavor. Natural sweetness♡ There’s no unpleasant medicinal smell. This is the fish that represents Kanazawa! The fish is fatty, and it tastes delicious🫶 This channel brings you unique travel experiences in Japan. 1. Arigato Gozaimasu Mona for another wonderful video ! The trip on the trolley train in the kurobe gorge looks so beautiful. Unfortunately, I see that its running only from the middle of April, and as we always are in Japan in March, we wont be able to enjoy it.

We have been to Kanazawa on my second trip to Japan and really enjoyed it there. The Kerukoen Garden is so beautiful and peaceful and its like paradise more me. I see that now Kanazawa has become much more touristy, so I am glad that we went there a few years ago, when it was not that touristy yet.

  2. Dziękuję ci za ten piękny pokaż,widoki oszałamiające,pogoda super, klimat nie stej ziemi,piękny kraj

  3. Lovely video. This is one of the autumn trips I wanna take in Japan. Sadly, the trees were not vibrant and orange yet. It was still not autumn enough.
