Did you know if you come to the famous Godzilla hotel in Shinjuku, turn left and walk down the street, find the 7-Eleven, and head up to the seventh floor, you’ll find the perfect new izakaya to chill out in Tokyo. They’ve got all the izakaya classics you know and love. But I was too busy trying their more innovative ones like this pesto vasa yaki soba, jammy eggs topped with uni, and when was the last time you had fluffy Japanese pancakes at an izakaya? You will not be able to decide from their massive drink selection. But why not try this matcha latte cocktail? This is Mr. Gentlemen in Shinjuku.
Went to a cool new izakaya in Shinjuku 🍻
This izakaya was so fun and unique because they’re blending Western influences with Japanese dishes to create something totally new. They’ve got Japanese classic you’d expect like chicken nanban, fried oysters, and tamagoyaki, but also some new takes on classics like the pesto yakisoba I had! 🌿
There were people of all ages here, more young people, maybe. You can do course menus or a la carte. And yes, they do have all you can drink. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu 😋
