MONEY SAVING HACKS IN JAPAN (SAVE THOUSANDS) #japan

Money-saving hacks in Japan. From the smallest to biggest savings, kinken shops, or rather known as discounted ticket stores, sell just about every ticket for a cheaper price. Search this on Google Maps to find the ones that are closest to you to hunt for good deals. Go to a 100 yen store where you can buy anything from travel essentials, packing necessities, or even stationeries for as little as $1. You can even get an umbrella for a fraction of the usual price. Here are a list of popular 100 yen branches all across Japan. Book hotels between 3 to 6 months prior to your Japan trip for the best average price. And most importantly, book it on the platform that allows for free cancellation. Then turn on notifications on Google Hotels to receive a prompt when there are any price drops. When a cheaper room comes along, this will allow you to book it and cancel the old one. Booking platforms usually run season promotions and hotels run flash sales one week to a few days before your actual booking date. This is how I’m able to book dozens of rooms in my hotels in Japan for under $100 series.
