Mistakes sure, but not anything to regret… Well, maybe the Mt Fuji view from the train, but hey, you didn’t know, so it was simply a mistake and you can do differently next time. Booking tickets online isn’t necessary, it’s incredibly easy and quick to purchase tickets at the train station when you get there… Just make sure you get there with enough time to get to the ticket office and then to the train on time. And trains are so frequent that you easily do that… Give yourself time, don’t panic and it’s easy ☺️

nah if you’re booking a Nozomi trip, all those reserved seats fill up hours before departure especially during peak hours.
Book ahead and don’t spend 30 minutes fidgeting which train to take at the reservation machine just because all seats are taken
