Hello. Hello, guys. I made it to Tokyo. Once I landed, I went on a hunt to find the Hanetta Airport Garden because I heard of this spot and I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to try it. First stop is Hanama Udon. These are like the famous udon. I’ve been waiting for this on the plane. Starting with these grilled miso sauce buns. So good. When I bit into it, I was sent to heaven. Sweet, savory. It was like a soy sauce sweet reduction and it’s super sticky. Coated this little bun almost like a monof bun. So good. Washing it down with this light and refreshing lemon sour. These are so good. I love them. All right, this is what I came for. I cannot believe I haven’t tried this sooner because I love udon noodles. I got the cold set. So, the noodles came cold with the dipping sauce. Oh my goodness, this is so good. The noodles were firm and held their shape but were so chewy at the same time. Like what? This is revolutionary. I seriously don’t know how I haven’t tried this before. I’m just like amazing. And for me, it’s almost like soba noodles. Like eating cold soba noodle, but instead of the soba noodle, it’s udah noodle, if that makes sense. Like the whole experience was similar to eating a cold soba. Oh, but so good. This is a sesame sauce. The first one was more of a soy sauce dipping base. Both were really, really tasty. Moving on to this tempura. Oh my, this tempura was something special. So flaky and crispy. The batter literally is just the texture of crisp. That’s like when you eat it, it’s just like crispy and cooked perfectly inside. This pumpkin was so good. Tender and soft. I don’t understand how they made this so good. Japan does it best. You guys should definitely come check this out. Everything about this meal was perfect and I would highly recommend.
