MUST WATCH before Japan Trip.
So, what is your travel itinerary in Japan? What would you say? What kind of advice would you give to foreigners coming to Japan for the first time? Uh, try the toilet. Oh, first time on a trip, I’d say. Hey guys, my name is Re. Welcome back to the channel. Japan is the most fascinating travel destinations in the world. From ancient temples to futuristic cities, there are something for everyone. But how do travelers around the world plan their journey here? Today we are hitting a street to ask foreign travelers, what is your travel plan in Japan and why did you choose it? And you can use this as a reference for traveling. Okay, let’s jump into it. Where from? We are from Germany. Germany. You speak Germany? Uh, oh. How long have you been in Japan so far? Uh, we have been here since 5 weeks. Five. Yeah, five. Five weeks. Five weeks. How long are you planning to stay here? Two months and one week. Two months. Oh, today I’m asking foreigners a simple question. So, what is your sh itinerary in Japan? What would you say? Yeah, we we started in Osaka 9 days and then we were in Tokyo for 3 days. Uh, 3 weeks we will go to Kyoto tomorrow. Then we have like 3 weeks where we haven’t planned anything. We just go with the flow. What What inspired you to choose this the destinations? Um, we have always been interested in the culture. I guess I have seen a bit of anime when I was younger, but I’m not a huge anime fan now. But I always liked the culture, the language, and I have never been to Asia before. I always wanted to come to Asia, and I think Japan is a wonderful country to travel to because you have great public transport, cheap and really delicious food. Yeah, just really impressive landscapes and the culture, the temples, the shrines. I really like it. Yeah, actually the same. And I also think that um the nature is very diverse from from north to south and so you can experience uh various types of landscapes and I think it’s also good destination to to go to seasons. So a lot to see and a lot to experience and also the the culture and the yeah in different cities is differs a little bit from what I’ve heard. and we so we experienced Osaka and and now Tokyo and the the people are a little bit different depending on the on the region in the city and that’s also very interesting to me. Is there anything you are especially looking forward to experiencing in Japan? I think I’m looking forward to uh traveling to the countryside and experience uh the life outside of the popular tourist attractions like a little bit more actual lifestyle in Japan. Like I think many people don’t have as much time as we have to travel here and they’re here for like 2 3 weeks and then they only see like the big sightseeing sports Mount Fuji Tokyo. Yeah, I I think it’s really interesting to get like a little peak into the life here. The most interesting thing to me and if you um get a little bit um to the to the countryside, you can experience it better. And um yeah, if you only stay in the main touristy areas, then I would say you you know what you will experience and and beforehand before you go there. Uh so it’s better to like experience things that you wouldn’t know you would experience before. So last question, do you guys speak Japanese? Japanese. What about you? Let’s say to my viewers, where you from? Uh, I’m from New York in America. How long have you been in Japan? Uh, this is my fifth day now. Yeah. Yeah. Arrived in Tokyo about 5 days ago. How long are you planning to stay here in Japan? For two more weeks. Two more weeks. Do you think it is enough? Uh, do I think it’s enough? No. No. No. I I definitely like to get at least like at least a month. I feel like you need to be able to explore all the all the parts of Japan. What is your travel itinerary in Japan? What would you say? Uh, so I actually came here without much of an itinerary. I just uh came here and wanted to, you know, I started in Tokyo and then I wanted to take day trips from Tokyo. Um, I have a friend that lives in Tokyo, too, who’s Japanese, so she’s been helpful recommending uh different places for me. So, as far as like a plane itinerary, I haven’t had one, but that’s that’s how I like to be, too. I like to just kind of wake up in the morning and then go where, you know, I think I’d like to go that day rather than have every part of the the day or the week planned out. You go with the flow, right? Sorry, what was that? You go with the flow. Go with the flow. Is there anything you are especially looking forward to experiencing in Japan? It’s uh it’s talking with the the locals, which I have done a little bit, you know, especially in more of the like countryside places. I I was in Yuzawa for 2 days. Yuzawa Yuzawa. Yuzawa. Where is that? It’s uh about an hour northwest of Tokyo. For me, I like I like going into like uh like an izakaya or bar and I know a little bit of Japanese, so I so I try to to practice a little bit of my Japanese with locals. What kind of advice would you give to foreigners coming to Japan for the first time and for a trip? Try to learn a little bit of Japanese. I think it goes a long way with uh with the people that live here. They really seem to appreciate it and it even if you only know like a couple words, you know, like she like I’m happy or if you’re eating oi that’s like, you know, they it really livens up the experience, I think. So that that would be my my advice. Okay. You speak Japanese, right? So, speaking and listening, I haven’t practiced much. Um, which is what I’m trying to do here. U cuz I read mostly uh Japanese books. So, you’re familiar with kanji? Hi. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. But I don’t know too many. Let’s say to my viewers, where you from? Italy. Italy. Italy. How long have you been in Japan? 1 week. Uh, yeah, 1 week. How long are you going to stay here? Uh, another 10 days. Today I’m asking foreign tourists about the easy question. Yesterday we went to Niko and Mount Fuji and then we moved to Hiroshima tomorrow and then we are going to Kyoto and Osaka. What inspire inspired you to choose the destination? I’m not into anime. I’m more into kawawaii things. Kawawaii. Wow. I hope it’s correct. Okay. Okay. Is there anything you are especially looking forward to experiencing in Japan? Not so much experience. Yeah, we saw a ceremony today of the the temple. Yeah, temple temple. But it was casual. What kind of advice would you give to foreigners coming to Japan for the first time? What kind of advice would you give to foreigners coming to Japan for the first time? Respect the people. Like I know in western country people are more loud more present you know don’t be like that you know respect the culture people will also respect you and yeah that’s what I can say. Do you speak Japanese? Uh Chto. Do you know? Yeah. Let’s say I must to my viewers. Thanks for where you from. Well, I’m from Italy. Italy. Yes. How long have you been in Japan? I think I’m just in love with the language, the culture and everything. It’s just I don’t know. It’s from from the inside. Okay.
