are you visiting Japan in summer save this list of items that locals use to survive the heat in Japan hi I’m Ellie a retired Japanese hostess turn tour guide here in Kyushu i’m making a series of Kyushu and Japan content in the eyes of a local so number one ice cool neck rings you just freeze it overnight put it around your neck handsree you’re good to go portable fans they are sold here every They are sold here everywhere especially as a tour guide in the summer the heat is going to you and I do bring this often okay so to be honest I haven’t tried this yet but they’re called UV arm sleeves and all of the obachons here you’d see them wearing this everywhere and I’ve heard that it’s really effective so I might give that a go and see how I would feel about that one thing I would swear by is wet cooling sheets you could buy them in any convenience store my favorite is the Gatsby peach sheets i think it’s in color pink so I would have that in my bag all the time especially in the heat you sweat a little it’s like a portable shower to wipe all the sweaty part your neck your wrist your face yeah it’s really refreshing so I really recommend you to get those and if the smell is too strong for you I would recommend you to try Seabbze and last but not the least frozen drinks from the convenience store we have this whole section of literally frozen drinks and it would take time before you get to drink them but I think it’s worth getting if you’re going to be out for the whole day so save this for your next trip and follow for more Japan content by a local tour
