Day 5 of my Japan trip! We explored Ikebukuro πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅πŸœ #japan #japantravel #ikebukuro

Hi everyone, my name is Katherine and I’m traveling around Japan for three weeks with my boyfriend Stephen. And we started out the day by going to Ikibbeuro, if I’m saying that right. And this is just a really fun anime area I wanted to check out. I’ve never been here even though it’s my third time in Japan. I’ve never explored the area. So, we saw some claw machines, went to the San Rio store, and then we went to this puppy store. It’s like a chain throughout Japan. It starts with a P. I I’d have to look it up. These puppies are really cute. I don’t know the ethics behind it, but I just go in and look at the cute creatures because how can you not? They’re very, very cute and I just love dogs so much. And yeah, so cute. And then we just went into like we really just were exploring the area. So, we just really went into like anything that looked interesting. This was a free day for us to explore. Steven saw this store that had a bunch of anime related stuff and then this like vending machine where he could get just a random anything. I don’t remember what he was wanting to get, but he got this random DVD, which was not what he wanted, but that’s okay. And then literally across from that place, we got some ramen because I was pretty hungry. This wasn’t our favorite ramen. Ichron is, but still very good. And then anime. This is like a multi-floor entire building anime store. That was fun to explore. And then the main thing that I wanted to do is go to the mall that had the Pokemon Center store along with the PokΓ©mon suits cafe as well. So, we started out by going to the Pokemon Center store. I didn’t get too much footage in the store because they don’t want us filming too much with like all the other customers, but I ended up getting a lot of stuff. As you can see, Pikachu’s eyes were sticking out through the back. I thought that was so funny. And then we went to the Pikachu Suits Cafe, which is really cute and nice that you didn’t need a reservation or anything. You just walk in. There’s no seating or anything, so you have to do like takeaway or to go style. But Steven ended up getting some kind of great drink. I got the classic Pikachu one. I think it was like lemony. And then we went back to Shibuya and went to Ding Tyong, which back home is my favorite restaurant. And if you’re on vacation, sometimes, you know, it’s so hard to get your greens in. So, I was very excited to have some greens. I wanted to see how the menu was different in Japan versus the US. I got some truffle dumplings along with my favorite cucumbers, my favorite classic pork shaolong bow. Steven ended up getting that pork soup. He always loves to get like a noodle soup. And this is like, if you ask me, my favorite food ever. It is the Shaaba at Ding Taiong. I love it. And then we ended up, it was in a higher up building, so we ended up getting really good views of Shabuya Crossing. And that was the end of our day five in Tokyo.
