And that’s a pig cafe. Good morning, gamers. It is day four. We are in uh Hiroshima and we’re going to get our first actual breakfast cuz we’ve just been doing Family Marty. And there’s a slight chance of rain today, but we’re really going to try and see if we can get motorcycles. We don’t want to ride in the rain. Um I said very light rain potentially, maybe possibly later in the day. So, we’re praying. We’re praying the rain gods work in our favor. Exactly. So, so fingers crossed, but is vlogging, too. Um, yeah. But good stuff. So, I’m stoked. It is warm, but not like terrible. It’s also only 8:30 in the morning, so we’re hoping we get used to it. So, good stuff. Let’s go get some breakfast. What a beautiful piece of machinery. Freaking love that. It’s so cute. Found a cute little place. We’re going to get some food. I’m excited cuz the we only have two things on the menu, but it looks really good. So, we are going to have some food. Weather is good. So, we’re gonna it’s going to be good. Fingers crossed that we can get bikes and they’re available and that it also doesn’t rain and then we can go to the island, see the tour gate and all that stuff and enjoy. Oh, yeah. Um, but pretty cool that it goes directly to where we need to go. It’s almost like public transportation here actually knows what it’s doing. Who would have thought? But good stuff. So, we’re going to head over there and beg and plead to get any type of motorized vehicle. Uh, we tried calling and it wasn’t going through, so we don’t know what’s up with that. But, uh, we know they’re open, so hopefully they have something. We’ll see. Oh, busting away. There it is. Next scene is either going to be us really excited cuz we got bikes or really sad and not sure what to do because we didn’t get bikes. Uh hopefully we’ll get it. And we’re sad. Unfortunately, it’s only rents to Japanese people, which understandable the more I think about it. So, probably a liability thing having us crazy folk. Uh but we figured out an alternative plan. We still want to get to the island and see the tour gate and everything there, which would be really pretty. So, we are hopping on a bus that’s going to take us a train that’s going to take us to a ferry and then we’ll do some hopefully can do some rental bikes on the island like bike bicycles, not motorcycles. It is what it is. But we tried all good. So, we got off the train and we’re getting on the ferry and there’s so many tourists as well. All trying to get to the same place to get to the same island. So, this is what it is. But it’s all good. Nice day. Little hot, but I’m glad we’re by the water. Definitely want to put my feet in. It’ll be good. I am gross. And I want to take a shower, but it’s also hard because taking a shower here, you walk back outside and you’re immediately sweaty. So, yeah. But we’re going to just make our way back and for we want to do. Uh we’re getting close to dinner time, so we might do that. Uh but we’ll see. So that was really awesome. A lot of fun. We’re going to a super nice uh Wagu steak place. It looks really good and we really, really, really are excited for some good meat. So, we are going to see how that goes. And we had to get a reservation and soonest we could get was 8:30 p.m. So, there was a lot of downtime. And in that downtime, I freaking got the my record for my longest plank of ever. It was 10 minutes and 20 seconds. I was previously at 10, no 9 minutes and 50 seconds. And I was back in 2021. So 4 years later, man, I was able to beat my record. Freaking stoked. Oh, we have a reservation.” And then they just look at us and they’re like, “Oh, that’s nice.” It’s like, dude, Sorry we planned ahead. Gosh, that crazy crazy. So, um, yeah, I feel bad, but I’m like sorry, but is what it is. Yeah. So, hopefully hopefully this is good. I’m really excited. All right, so this is cool because we are going to be getting a full thing here. getting a salad, getting sashimi, vegetables, mushrooms, shrimp, uh I guess oysters, too, which is crazy. And then the actual Why are you safe? Um and then what did we add? Flip it. We added the uh beef, garlic rice, and two days dessert. That’s cool. And the dessert. So, this is like a full on thing, man. Uh and 7,900 yen is about 50 bucks. 50 bucks. Yeah. So, I mean, this is like I was just saying it’s like going to Benihana’s but like actual like actual food which is awesome. So, uh yeah, I’m really stoked. Itsukushima Island is so unreal! It felt like the typical beach town you’d see the main character in an anime take a trip to for a much needed vacation. Definitely was my favorite day on the trip so far! Tomorrow we head to Osaka to meet up with a special guest, can’t wait.
