Three REGRETS From My First Trip To Japan #japan

These are my three regrets from my first trip to Japan and what I would have done differently next time. Firstly is not knowing that you can drink tap water in Tokyo. I spent hundreds of dollars on bottled water only to find out about this later on. If you’re still unsure, you can also pick up a tap water filter from any supermarket for as little as $2. You absolutely need to avoid taking the train during rush hour because it can get extremely crowded and it’s going to be a nightmare, especially if you have luggage with you during this time. Thirdly is going to a conveni instead of a supermarket. As much as I love an egg sundo from the conveni, Japanese supermarket meals are elite and you can grab similar items from 30% all the way to 60% cheaper around closing time. 1. Travelling in rush hour cannot be avoided if you are flying in the morning so it is not a regret. It's common sense to avoid rush hour in any city in the world

  2. I recently visited and can agree on everything mentioned here for the typical American looking to travel to Japan for the 1st time.

The water was fine, but a bit thick if you’re used to tap in the U.S.
In reality, you’re more than likely not going to be able to avoid rush hour, so just being mentally prepared will help tons. Snagging a seat makes the experience a lot better too, lol.
Depending on where you’re located, it may be hard to find a supermarket and kobinis have so much variety, but a supermarket has way better prices.

  3. I love your videos! Me and my partner are going to Japan in November and your videos have been a great help for apps and tips and tricks 😁❤️
