A must in Osaka – this bouncy, fluffy Japanese cheesecake from Rikuro! #japantravel #japanesefood

First things first when we arrived in Osaka – finding the yummy Japanese cheesecake I had years ago! πŸ§€ πŸŽ‚

Bouncy, fluffy & not too sweet, it was as good as I remembered and sooo addictive.πŸ˜‹

πŸ”₯tip 1: While there’s nothing like a freshly baked cheesecake, we actually liked it more after it was refrigerated (tasted less eggy so the Denmark-imported cream cheese was more prominent)!

πŸ”₯ tip 2: I’ve read that the Namba branch has long queues but we waited only a short while for a freshly baked one (there’s a separate queue for that) at the Shin-Osaka branch.

P.S. Pls pardon our messy cutting, we were using our (rather blunt) bamboo travel knife (eco-friendly!).πŸ˜†
