The coolest souvenir we got in Japan 😍 Part 6 of our adventures at the Osaka World Expo 2025! 🇯🇵

This is truly a one of a kind souvenir you can’t get anywhere else! This is a parangolé, a super colorful poncho 🌈 with cool decorative Brazilian art that can only be found at the Brazil Pavilion at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan this year.

I love the butterfly 🦋 design on my turquoise blue one, and Kevin’s lime green one has a group of performing musicians 🪘

There are 12 different parangolé designs they’re giving out for free, and you can see all of the art designs on display in the parangolé room at the Brazil Pavilion. These were especially handy when it rained ☔

They’re giving out a limited number per day (about 1,000), at random times during the day. So you’ll have to try your luck at the Brazil Pavilion to see if you get one! 🍀

Parangolés were popularized by a Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica, who used them in his artwork, encouraging people to drape them around their bodies and participate in art 🎨
