The Atsuta Festival (Shobu-sai) is the most important and grand festival held annually on June 5th at Atsuta Jingu Shrine in Nagoya City.
Over 100,000 people visit every year.

I remember when we visited that temple with Mariko san. I was very impressed by the grandfather tree and by the little kids dressed up for Sinchi go san. They were so cute. That top you are wearing is also very cute. A lovely shade of blue.
I had to have a laugh at myself Tomoko! Because I read Stretchy Cheese as Sketchy Cheese and instantly thought, "Why would anyone eat sketchy cheese?" 😂😂
The taiyaki filling was unique! Lots of tasty dishes. Cucumber with some seasoned salt is a favorite of mine this time of year😊
