A video I capture at the Kishiwawda Danjiri Festival. This is the later part of the event that starts at 19:00 on both the first and second day of the event. In this part, beautiful red lantern lights cover the Danjiri carts as they make their way across the streets of Kishiwada city.

One person inside the Danjiri play the drum, other people carrying it and sing. It’s a fascinating and must-see even and the main attraction in Kishiwada. Just keep in mind that the event takes place only two days a year, on September 14-15.

There are other Danjiri Matsuri events on other places, but they are less impressive than this one. This is known to be one of the best festivals in Japan (at least that what I was told by a Japanese guy who attended the event).

If you are in Osaka, Kyoto or other nearby cities, you should unquestionably take a train and go see that celebration.
